Corte Madera

Nestled between the slopes of Mt. Tam and the marshlands of San Francisco Bay, Corte Madera is home to Redwood High School, two shopping malls straddling Highway 101, and Corte Madera Town Park. It’s the perfect place to raise a family.

 

Civic organizations donate the flower baskets that hang on almost every lamppost in town and coordinate the town's blow out Fourth of July Parade. Corte Madera is home to Marin/Scape, the annual art show that has raised over a million dollars for Buckelew Programs, helping those with mental illness. Little Leaguers take full advantage of the spacious, well-tended parks and ball fields. Corte Madera is home to Book Passage, an independent bookstore with a busy calendar of classes, workshops, and author's readings.
